I had one of those days yesterday. You know...when the sun is just right, a small breeze, and most of all the whole day involved playing with my young son Hawk.
It started out with a 3 mile run then we swam, we played trains, we swam, he nursed ( a lot ) and we swam some more. I love these days when I put him to bed just knowing I am the number one person in his life. The one who comforts when he is sick, hugs when he is hurt and feeds when hungry. I love my both my boys so much. I am so thankful to God for letting me raise them.
Birth and beyond with my boys.

Night time weaning :P
I started night weaning my 1 1/2 year old son from the breast about a week ago. The 1st 2 nights were tough but the crying, biting, hitting, and head butting slowly subsided. After many painful nights ( more for me ) we have come to the point where he does not nurse past 9 p.m. or before 4 a.m.
As I woke at 1 a.m. this morning with a nice stretch I felt a little something " stuck" to me if you will. Some how at some point during the night my beautiful little boy had snuggled up to me and attached himself to my breast and had fallen asleep. It was such a priceless moment and he looked so serene that I actually left him there. I really hope this does not bite me in the butt tonight.

From Facebook to Blogging
I did not think I would find myself ever doing a blog but here I am. I left facebook because I felt there was alot of negativity and nonsense. So~~~DEACTIVATED. But I find myself wanting to post my day, say my thoughts, brag about my boys :) so again....here I am posting a blog. I have to give thanks to Robyn for showing me the way and honestly inspiring me from her blog;
